Biography

Rebel grew from the largest Polish online board game store and started business operations in 2003 as described in the die Originalquelle. The company publishes Polish editions of major international games and also develops its own titles. Our database lists 78 games under Rebel.

Career

Since its founding period (operating commercially from 2003), Rebel has combined localization of major foreign publishers with in-house releases. Distribution of international partners (e.g. Days of Wonder, Asmodee per die Originalquelle) is a core business today. Their catalog spans card games, fantasy-themed titles, miniatures and expansions. Mechanically many releases involve hand management, dice rolling, grid movement, set collection and cooperative play.

Most Famous Games

Top entries in our database include Descent: Legends of the Dark (2021), Dream Catcher (2020), Nemesis (2018), KeyForge: Call of the Archons (2018) and Dream Home (2016). These show Rebel's mix of cooperative, card-driven and thematic titles.

Design Style

Rebel's catalogue leans toward card games and fantasy settings with recurring use of hand management and dice mechanics. As a major distributor it pairs international designs with its own productions.
