What to Expect
This expansion offers two setups on the largest continent: Team Asia allows four to six players to compete in two-player teams sharing cards and tickets. Legendary Asia introduces mountain routes where players place trains in a special Mountain Crossing area, scoring points but losing those trains for the rest of the game. A bonus is awarded for connecting the most cities in a single network. These variants add new tactical layers to the classic gameplay.
Who Is This Game For?
Designed for Ticket to Ride fans aged 8 and up, this expansion deepens the base game with team play and challenging mountain routes. With a playtime around 60 minutes, it suits players familiar with the base rules. It is considered a gateway to more advanced gameplay.
How It Works
The game uses mechanics like Hand Management, Network and Route Building, and Team-Based Game. In Team Asia, teammates share a cardholder and coordinate route building. Legendary Asia features mountain routes that require players to place trains in a special area, affecting their available resources. Players collect sets of cards to claim routes and score points.
