In Strike, players throw dice into an arena represented by the game box, aiming to be the last player with dice remaining. On your turn, you roll a die into the arena and decide whether to risk rolling more or end your turn. Matching dice values are removed, special symbols remove dice from the game, and dice that fall out are lost. Players eliminated when they run out of dice.
Who Is This Game For?
Strike is suitable for families and casual players aged 8 and up who enjoy quick, easy-to-learn dice games. With a playtime around 15 minutes, it's ideal for short gaming sessions. No prior experience is needed due to straightforward rules and engaging push-your-luck decisions.
How It Works
The game features Dice Rolling, Player Elimination, and Push Your Luck mechanics. Each player rolls a die into the arena (the game box). If two dice show the same number, they are removed. Players can choose to roll additional dice or stop. Dice showing a special symbol or falling out are removed from the game. When a player has no dice left, they are eliminated.
What Makes It Special
Designed by Dieter Nüßle, Strike was nominated in 2012 for the Kinderspielexperten award (ages 8-13) and in 2013 for the As d'Or - Jeu de l'Année. It belongs to Ravensburger's Einfach Spielen series and uniquely uses the game box as the arena. The blend of push-your-luck and player elimination mechanics provides engaging tension.
