In X-Wing, players command Rebel X-wings or Imperial TIE fighters in intense dogfights. Each round, players secretly select maneuvers using a unique pilot dial, then reveal and execute them. Combat resolution involves dice rolling and damage cards that create dynamic, unpredictable battles. Multiple missions with distinct victory conditions encourage adaptable strategies.
Who Is This Game For?
This game is aimed at enthusiasts and tabletop gamers aged 14 and up who enjoy tactical, head-to-head combat. With an average playtime of 45 minutes, it suits players seeking quick yet strategic duels. Designed exclusively for two players, it offers focused, competitive gameplay.
How It Works
Players secretly choose maneuvers for their ships using the pilot dial (Action Queue). Maneuvers are then executed in order of pilot skill. Movement uses templates (Movement Template), while line of sight and dice rolls determine attacks (Dice Rolling). Critical hits and failures add tactical depth, and player elimination ends the game when all ships of one player are destroyed.
