What to Expect

In BITS, all players simultaneously place colorful tiles on their own boards over three rounds. Players try to complete communal task cards by forming specific shapes or color groups. Tiles slide down the board as they are placed, adding a spatial puzzle element. Points are scored at the end of each round, and the player with the highest score after three rounds wins. An optional fourth round and solo scoring rules are included.

Who Is This Game For?

BITS is aimed at families and casual gamers aged 8 and up. It is an accessible gateway game with about 45 minutes of playtime and requires no prior experience. The puzzle mechanics offer strategic depth, and the solo mode allows for single-player challenges.

How It Works

Each round begins with a communal task card specifying shapes or color groups to create for points. Players receive a starting tile and then take turns placing tiles onto the top row of their board, letting them slide down into place. This tile placement mechanic requires planning to optimize scoring. After all tiles are placed, points are awarded based on the completed tasks.
