In Whirling Witchcraft, players simultaneously select recipe cards to transform ingredients on their workbench. You must manage your resources carefully while forcing opponents to overload their cauldrons. The game includes unique player powers and tactical decisions, creating a fast-paced experience where clever recipe use leads to victory by collecting ingredients in your Witch's Circle.
Who Is This Game For?
This game targets experienced players aged 14 and up who enjoy quick, tactical sessions around 30 minutes. It suits those who appreciate simultaneous action selection and 'take that' mechanics. Some familiarity with fantasy card games helps but isn’t mandatory.
How It Works
Each round, players simultaneously choose a recipe card and can use recipes in front of them to convert ingredients. After placing final ingredients in a cauldron, it passes to the right neighbor who tries to fit them on their workbench. Overflowing ingredients return to the active player’s Witch's Circle. Variable player powers grant unique abilities influencing recipe use and strategy.
