What to Expect

Talat challenges three players who share two 5x5 grid boards, each player controlling towers of different shapes and heights. Players must strategically move and capture opponents' towers by applying unique rules based on tower shape and height. The game ends when two boards are frozen due to no possible captures, scoring points for captured towers and those reaching opponents' starting rows.

Who Is This Game For?

Talat suits players who enjoy abstract strategy games with a medium playtime of about 30 minutes. It targets hobby gamers and families with some gaming experience. It supports 2 to 3 players and does not include a solo mode. Recommended for ages 8 and up.

How It Works

Talat uses Grid Movement and Pattern Movement on square 5x5 grids. Players move towers forward one space, straight or diagonal, and capture opponent towers based on rules similar to Rock-Paper-Scissors, considering tower height and shape. When no captures are possible on a board, it freezes. The game ends when two boards are frozen.
