In Djam, players roll dice that define a theme, a color indicating the first letter, and letter dice. Everyone tries to quickly find a word matching the theme and starting with the given letter. Only one word proposal per round is allowed, creating a tense and fast-paced atmosphere. A special black face on the color die triggers a unique challenge where a player must find a word without certain letters.

How It Works

At the start, players choose a card with six themes. Each turn, a player rolls a die to determine the theme, then a color die for the initial letter, plus letter dice. All players simultaneously find a word fitting the theme, starting with the color die's letter and containing the rolled letters. The first valid word earns points. If the color die shows black, only one player may propose a word without the rolled letters.
