Players build a modular board from four-hex tiles and place tall stacks of sheep on the edges. On your turn, you move part of a stack in a straight line along the hex grid as far as possible, leaving at least one sheep behind. The board fills gradually, limiting movement options. The player who occupies the most spaces at the end wins.
Who Is This Game For?
Battle Sheep is a family game with simple rules and a short playtime of about 15 minutes, suitable for children from 7 years and casual players. No prior experience is needed, making it easy to learn and quick to play.
How It Works
The game uses a modular board composed of hex tiles. Movement is done on the hex grid by sliding partial stacks in straight lines. The enclosure mechanic encourages players to claim territory by blocking opponents, gradually filling the board. Turns consist of splitting and moving stacks until no moves remain.
