What to Expect

In Three Sisters, you manage a backyard garden using a player sheet divided into zones for crops, apiary, compost, and tools. Each round, dice are rolled and placed on a rondel-based action wheel, then drafted by players to plant or water crops like pumpkins, corn, and beans. The game uses the indigenous Three Sisters agricultural technique and lasts eight rounds, with interconnected tracks offering points and bonuses.

Who Is This Game For?

This game is aimed at experienced players aged 14 and up who enjoy tactical roll-and-write games. With a 60-minute playtime and a solo mode included, it suits players willing to engage in strategic planning and dice drafting mechanics.

How It Works

Three Sisters combines Dice Rolling, Rondel, and Paper-and-Pencil mechanics. Each round, dice are rolled and placed on action spaces around a circular wheel that shifts position. Players draft dice in turn, using them to plant or water crops in the matching numbered zones and perform the action on the selected space. After drafting, all players use the lowest remaining die for additional benefits.
