What to Expect

In Pipeline, players build a 3D pipeline on a 6x6 grid using colorful plastic pipe pieces like straights, angles, and T-joints. Players select pieces by spinning a spinner or rolling a special die, then connect their pipes from one side of the board to the opposite. Pipes can be rotated but not backtracked, and players must build over or around opponents' pipes blocking their path. The first to complete their pipeline wins.

Who Is This Game For?

Pipeline is designed as a children's game for ages 6 and up but also works as a light family game. With a short playtime of about 20 minutes and simple rules, it requires no prior experience and suits quick game sessions.

How It Works

The core mechanic is Tile Placement: players take turns placing pipe tiles onto a 6x6 grid to build a continuous connection. The next tile is chosen by a spinner or special die. The Connection mechanism requires pipes to link properly. Players can rotate tiles but cannot undo placements, and must work around or over opponents' pipes that block their route.
