In On Tour, you plan a 100-day band tour across the USA or Europe. Each turn, two ten-sided dice create two numbers which you write down in states on your map. The available states are limited by cards in the center. At the end, you draw a route from lower to higher numbers across adjacent states to score points. Bonus points and variable setups add variety to each game.
Who Is This Game For?
On Tour targets families and casual players aged 7 and up who enjoy quick, easy-to-learn games. The 20-minute duration keeps engagement high, and the solo mode allows solo play. It's a light family game requiring no prior experience.
How It Works
Each round, two ten-sided dice are rolled to form two two-digit numbers, e.g. 37 and 73. You write these numbers in allowed states on your map, constrained by three cards revealed in the center. At game end, you connect adjacent states in ascending number order to create a route. Points are scored for each visited state, with bonus points and wilds available. Mechanics include Bingo, Connections, Dice Rolling, and Network and Route Building.
What Makes It Special
Chad DeShon combines dice luck with strategic number placement and route planning. The second edition features double-sided boards with US and European maps. Although it has no awards, On Tour stands out through its bingo-dice-network hybrid. It is also playable online on Board Game Arena and supports up to 8 players.
