What to Expect

In Marrakech, you move the character Assam based on dice rolls, place carpets strategically, and pay rent when landing on opponents' carpets. The aim is to outmaneuver competitors by clever carpet placement and money management. The game ends when all carpets have been placed, and the player with the most coins wins.

Who Is This Game For?

Marrakech is a family game suitable for players aged 6 and up, with a playing time of about 30 minutes. It appeals to casual gamers and families looking for quick, easy-to-learn tactical gameplay. No prior experience is needed.

How It Works

Players take turns rotating Assam, rolling a die, and moving him across the board. Landing on another player's carpet requires paying rent based on carpet area. After moving, you place your own carpet tile adjacent to Assam. Core mechanics include Area Majority / Influence, Tile Placement, Roll / Spin and Move, and Layering. The game ends when all carpets are placed; the richest player wins.
