In Fort, you play as a kid building forts, collecting pizza and toys, and making friends. You use your cards to perform actions and follow other players' moves, scoring victory points. Deciding whether to focus on your own group or copy others is key. Cards not played may be lost, so managing your deck carefully is important. The player with the most points wins.
Who Is This Game For?
Fort is designed for families and casual gamers aged 10 and up who enjoy moderately complex card games. With a playing time around 40 minutes, it fits well into a game night without lasting too long. Prior experience with deck building helps but is not required.
How It Works
Fort uses deck, bag, and pool building mechanics alongside hand management. Players play cards to take actions and can follow actions of others (follow mechanic). The progressive turn order governs player sequence. Through smart card play and following, you build your deck, gather resources, and score points while reacting to others.
