Your display name is visible to friends only, your username is public. That's how you find each other.

Connect

Under Players in the Friends section:

• Search by username – type in your friend's username
• Invite by e-mail – if you only have the address. The reply is always “Invitation sent”, whether or not an account exists, so nobody can probe who is registered

What happens after accepting

• You see each other's display name and profile
• The person appears in your player list
• Shared matches run under the account, not under a guest player

Friends automatically

You become friends without an extra request when someone shares a collection with you, you accept a group invitation, or you register via a friend invitation by e-mail.
