What to Expect

In Skyjo, each player manages 12 hidden cards arranged in a 3x4 grid, with two initially revealed. On your turn, you draw from the discard or draw pile and swap cards to lower your score. A round ends when a player has all cards revealed; columns with three identical cards are discarded and don't count towards the score. The goal is to have the lowest score when someone reaches 100 points.

Who Is This Game For?

Skyjo is aimed at families and casual players aged 8 and up seeking a quick, easy-to-learn card game. With about 45 minutes playtime, it fits well into a game night. No prior experience is needed, making it ideal for beginners exploring set collection and pattern building mechanics.

How It Works

Each player has 12 cards in a 3x4 layout, two face-up. On your turn, you take a card from the discard or draw pile and can swap it with one of your own cards. The goal is to form columns of identical cards which get discarded, reducing your score. Once a player reveals all cards, the round ends and points are tallied. Columns of three identical cards are removed and don't add points.
