In Mosaic, players develop their own civilization by selecting from eight actions and acquiring civilization pillars. These pillars unlock technologies and scoring opportunities. Specializing in pillars can trigger ‘Golden Ages’. As the game progresses, scoring cards reveal points based on regional dominance through cities, wonders, and military units. After the third scoring round, a final turn ends the game.
