What to Expect

You lead one of the ancient world’s great cities, gather resources, build commercial routes and an architectural wonder across three ages. Each age players draft cards from a deck, play them immediately and interact with their neighbors. Cards grant immediate effects, long‑term bonuses or military strength, and scoring happens after the three ages.

Who Is This Game For?

Suited for hobby gamers and families with older kids (min age 10). With a ~30 minute playtime it fits game nights that prefer compact, tactical sessions focused on drafting and neighbor interaction.

How It Works

The core mechanic is Closed Drafting: players choose a card from a hand and pass the rest to a neighbor. Hand Management and Multi‑Use Cards force meaningful choices between playing for effects, resources or future discounts. Neighbor Scope means your immediate left and right players matter for trade and military. End Game Bonuses determine final scoring after three ages.

What Makes It Special

Designed by Antoine Bauza, 7 Wonders won the Kennerspiel des Jahres in 2011. It pairs fast, simultaneous play with deep drafting decisions and tight neighbor interaction, published originally by Repos Production.
