In Greed, players steal cards from each other to build their own collection. You risk losing everything if you push your luck too far by drawing duplicate cards. Some cards feature special actions like revealing an opponent's hand or adding cards directly to collections. The goal is to be the first to collect six cards of the same value.
Who Is This Game For?
Greed is suitable for families and casual players aged 8 and up. Its short 15-minute playtime makes it ideal for quick sessions, and it requires no prior experience. The game is easy to learn but offers tension through its Push Your Luck elements.
How It Works
Each player starts with a hand of cards including a special crook card. On your turn, you add a card face-up to your collection, then attempt to steal cards from an opponent by drawing from their hand repeatedly. You may stop anytime, but drawing two cards with the same value ends your turn and returns the cards. Using the crook lets you take a card from an opponent's collection. The winner is the first to collect six identical cards.
