What to Expect

In Roman Poker, you roll dice to form Roman numerals that must be recorded in ascending order on a scoresheet. After each roll, decide whether to stop or keep rolling as long as the dice form a valid Roman numeral. Use action cards to fix bad rolls, but use them wisely as unused cards grant bonus points. The game ends when a player fills seven numbers. The highest score wins.

Who Is This Game For?

This game is suitable for families and casual players aged 10 and up who enjoy dice games with light complexity. With a playing time of about 30 minutes, it fits well into short gaming sessions. No prior experience is needed, but players should enjoy Push-Your-Luck and numerical puzzles.

How It Works

Each player receives action cards and tries to roll dice to form Roman numerals. After each roll, decide whether to stop or roll again (Dice Rolling, Push Your Luck). If you achieve a valid number, enter it in ascending order on your scoresheet. Invalid or duplicate numbers end your turn but can be remedied with action cards. The game ends when someone has entered seven numbers.
