What to Expect

In Quinamid, players aim to form a line of five counters on a pyramid made of five differently sized boards. You can place counters, rotate boards, or move them orthogonally, hiding the counters underneath. This requires memory to track hidden counters and spatial awareness to create winning lines. Games are quick, often lasting just a few minutes, encouraging multiple rounds.

Who Is This Game For?

Quinamid is designed for two players aged 8 and up. With simple rules and short playtime of about 10 minutes, it suits families and casual gamers looking for a quick abstract challenge without prior experience. Memory skills and spatial thinking enhance play but are not mandatory.

How It Works

On your turn, you can place a counter on an empty space, rotate a board (and any boards above it) 90 degrees, or move a board orthogonally with any boards stacked on top. The next player cannot move or rotate the board that was just moved or rotated. The goal is to create a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line of five counters. Hidden counters require memory to keep track of the game state.
