What to Expect

In Nertz, each player uses their own deck and tries to quickly play cards in ascending sequences both in front of them and in communal piles. All players act at the same time, creating a frantic competition to empty their 'Nertz pile' first. The game demands speed and attention as players build on shared and personal stacks simultaneously.

Who Is This Game For?

Nertz suits players aged 7 and up who enjoy fast, energetic card games. It's a family game with simple rules and moderate complexity, ideal for groups who like real-time challenges. No prior experience is needed, but quick reactions are essential.

How It Works

Each player has a draw pile and four working piles with cards in front of them. Players simultaneously play cards in ascending order by suit onto communal central piles or their own stacks. Cards are turned over three at a time from the draw pile to find playable cards. The first to empty their draw pile calls 'Nertz!' and ends the round, scoring points based on cards played.
