What to Expect

You control one of twelve factions and terraform a hex-based map to build structures and grow cities. Proximity to other factions limits expansion but grants advantages; upgrades yield resources such as tools, scholars, money and power. Schools generate books used to enact innovations, while palaces and workshops unlock strong abilities. Variable faction, homeland and ability combinations ensure diverse playthroughs.

Who Is This Game For?

Aimed at experienced euro/strategy players (ages 14+). With a duration around 200 minutes it's an evening-length to long session, suited for groups who enjoy deep Civilization/Economic gameplay. Solo play is supported for solo enthusiasts.

How It Works

The game uses a hexagon grid and a modular board where you terraform terrain into your homeland types and place buildings that can merge into cities. Contracts and income mechanics provide recurring benefits; end-game bonuses affect scoring. Network and route building and building upgrades are core actions, complemented by school-driven progress and book-driven innovation triggers.
